Registration Opens on October 1st at 9 a.m.

Registration is currently disabled and will open from October 1 through November 1 or until filled.  

What's Changed??

Lessons will not be offered on trip nights and therefore this program is not recommended for first-time skiers/boarders.

Rentals are not included with any of the Epic passes.  Season rentals can be purchased through Princeton Sports, or you may reserve rentals in advance of trip nights through the Liberty Mountain website.

Good news! Ater much feedback, we will allow Grade 6 at Dumbarton and St. Paul's to participate. 

McDonogh will only offer a pick-up at their school for Grades 9 - 12

Private school sites are limited to students who attend those schools.

The resorts are cashless!

More resorts have been added to the Epic passes including Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Resorts!

Transportation Cost

Bus fee is $220 - Registration opens October 1st 

This secures your spot on the bus and covers roundtrip coach bus transportation for 5 trips and swag.  Visit this site to register.

 

Epic Ski/Board Pass

Must purchase an Epic Ski Pass - Register Now!  Prices increase after Sept. 5th!

Epic Local Pass
5 - 12 years ($335) / 13 - 18 years ($519)

  • Good any day at most Vail Resorts (some Holiday Blackouts)
  • Add $56 PER VISIT for ski/board rental if needed
  • No lessons

Epic Day Pass - 5 Visits
5 - 12 years ($102) / 13 - 18 years ($201)

  • Good at most Vail Resorts non-holiday
  • Add $56 PER VISIT for ski/board rental if needed
  • No lessons
  • Choose "22 Resorts" not "All Resorts" for the $201 rate

Northeast Value Pass
13 - 18 years ($393)

  • Good at all Vail Resorts East of the Mississippi with a few holiday restrictions in Vermont and NY
  • Add $56 PER VISIT for ski/board rental if needed
  • No lessons

 

Transportation

Roundtrip coach bus transportation will be provided to one of the following ski resorts (dates/locations vary per school site)

Liberty Mountain Resort, 78 Country Club Trail, Carroll Valley, PA 

Roundtop Mountain Resort, 925 Roundtop Rd., Lewisberry, PA

Whitetail Mountain Resort, 13805 Blairs Valley Rd, Mercersburg PA

Seven Springs Mountain Resort, 777 Water Wheel Dr, Champion, PA
 

School pick-up/drop-off sites:

Bus departs after school and returns to school at 10:30 p.m.

NOTE: Private school pick-up sites are limited to students who attend those schools due to traffic restrictions afterschool.

Ski and Board Season Rental

For those who do not own skis/snowboard, we recommend leasing equipment from Princeton Sports for the season.  

 

Additional Details

Parents and teachers chaperone the trips. Parents should understand that students are not supervised directly while on the slopes or in the ski lodge.  Ski patrol will contact TRC chaperones in the event of a medical concern, at which point chaperones will contact parents as necessary. If you are interested in chaperoning, please email Krista at towsonrecski@gmail.com.

Ski club participants are expected to follow the same behavioral guidelines as listed in their school student handbook. Violations may result in suspension from the club with no refunds.

This program is not recommended for first-time skiers/boarders as NO LESSONS WILL BE OFFERED on ski club trip nights.
