T-Ball is an introduction to baseball. The players learn basic rules and skills in non-competitive games. The philosophy is to focus on fun and foster a love of the game.
- Recommended for players age 4 or 5 as of May 1, 2017.
- Practices on Wednesday evenings; Games are played on Saturday mornings at 9am.
- 2017 Opening Day is Saturday, April 22nd and the season ends on Saturday, June 3rd.
- Price: $70; price increases by $15 after 31 January, 2017.
T-Ball Rules:
- There are no strikes, no outs and scores are not kept.
- The teams consist of 8-10 kids so they get lots of attention.
- The ball is batted from a tee
- Each child gets a base hit every inning.
- The last batter hits a home run and clears the bases
- Games are typically two or three innings.
