Towson United Rec Registration

WELCOME TO TOWSON UNITED'S
2024 BOYS FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION!

This registration is for Towson United's Boys Recreational Soccer Program.  Please read each page carefully to ensure that all information is  accurate.  Contact Towson United if you have any registration or program questions.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

Please review the following registration policies before registering:

BOYS SOCCER PROGRAM ONLY: This registration is for boys & girls who wish to play in Towson United's Fall 2023 Boys In-house Recreational Soccer Program only.  Girls who wish to register for the Towson United Girls Soccer program must register through a separate Girls' Soccer registration found here.

BIRTH YEAR AGE-GROUPS: Towson United adheres to the US Soccer Association’s birth year registration, not academic year.  As such, Fall 2023 Registration encompasses players with birth years ranging from 2009 to 2019.  2008 and older are eligible to participate in Towson United's co-ed program under a separate registration here.  2020 and younger are eligible to participate in Towson United's co-ed Soccer Stars program under a separate registration here.

CLUB & TRAVEL PLAYERS NOT PERMITTED: To ensure that all players have an opportunity to join a team as well as to create competitive balance across the league, club and travel players are not permitted to play in Towson United's Rec Soccer program.

PLAYERS NOT SELECTED FOR TRAVEL: Players trying out for but not selected for a Towson United Travel team are NOT guaranteed placement on an Recreational team.  You may register for the Rec program now, and request and receive a refund if your player makes a Towson United Travel team.

"PLAYING UP/DOWN": Towson United strongly discourages players from registering in an older or younger division ("playing up" or "playing down") in the Recreational program.  Permission to do so must be obtained by the Towson United Boys Commissioner.  Prior to seeking permission, please register in the proper age-group/division.  Determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis and granted only in extraordinary cases.

WAITLIST:  When an age-group/division is full, players may register for the "Waitlist."  Waitlisted players will be notified if a roster spot in their division becomes available.  Players are selected from the waitlist in the order in which players register.  No payment is required to be placed on the waitlist.

U15 GAMES ON SUNDAYS:  To ensure all U15 games are played on the Towson High School turf field, U15 games are played on Sundays.

PAYMENT:  Full payment is due at registration.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:  Need-based financial assistance is available. If you or someone you know needs assistance paying registration fees, please contact TowsonUnitedBoysRec@gmail.com.

REFUNDS:  The registration fee is fully refundable until July 1st.  After this date, the registration fee is non-refundable.
