Boys Travel Homepage

TOWSON UNITED offers competitive travel teams for ages 7-15. Teams are formed in May for fall play. Most coaches choose to compete in CMSA (Central Maryland Soccer Association) or EDP (Elite Development Program).  The Fall season consists of 8 regular season games played throughout central Baltimore County, Carroll County and Harford County. CMSA plays games on Saturdays in the fall.  Each team also plays in 1-3 tournaments per season. Typically a preseason tournament in late August, Columbus weekend, and mid-November.

Teams have the option of playing in a winter futsal league.

Teams participating in the Spring season play in a 6-8 game Sunday league with CMSA or EDP. We understand the importance of playing other sports and the benefit in the growth and development of your child. So with that in mind it is not mandatory to play in the spring and if you do choose to play, our coaches are understanding to other commitments.

TRYOUTS & EVALUATIONS

Each season, players must attend tryouts and make a travel team. For more information about the tryout schedule, goalkeeper evaluations, and a description of the tryout process, please visit our Travel Tryouts webpage here.

ANNUAL PLAYER FEES

Annual fees are comprised of two components: administrative fees and team fees.  Admin. fees support the costs associated with the Towson United program, such as tryout costs, rostering/carding fees, goalkeeper trainings, players and coach development trainings, etc.  Team fees are team specific and are determined by the league and tournaments the team participates in, as well as whether the team participates in winter futsal, spring league, or other team-related events.

U8 to U16 players fees are estimated between $300-$600.  The uniform package is estimated at $150.  These fees estimates are approximate, and may increase depending on the number of tournaments teams attend.

Financial assistance is available.
